The models are based on the two speeder sheds at each end of Camp Reynolds.The Speeder Shed is where the West Side Lumber Company stored maintenance parts, extra signs, tools, hand cars, velocipedes, and in later years, motorized speeders.The shed was positioned on a section of track where a crew could be called out to inspect and do small repairs to the track within Camp Reynolds.
